如何應付艱難的對話?(2)

應付艱難的對話是我們工作中不可避免的內容。
以下的方式可以讓對話具有生產力,而非纏繞在爭議上:
  1. 決定一個合理的結果。記住,你和你的對話對象都想要得到不同的結果。想想看你想要的結果是否現實與合理,而非只關注在你自己一方想要達到的結果。
  2. 關注在未來。你想要得到的最終目標是什麽?你想要達到的對話結果是否符合你的願景?如果你正在和你的員工進行討論,說明你預備如何與他們一起努力來實現這個願景。
  3. 釐清應該解決什麽問題?如果你有遠大的目標,找出阻礙你們發展實現的障礙。這樣做,可以讓你們的對話內容避免落入讓人認為是你個人的私慾,而可以成為集體的創意來推動改革。

Dealing with difficult dialogues is unavoidable in our work.
The following ways can make dialogue productive, not entangled in controversy.
  1. Determine a reasonable result. Remember, you and your target audience want different results. Think about whether the results you want are realistic and reasonable, rather than focusing solely on the results you want to achieve.
  2. Focus on the future. What is the ultimate goal that you want to get? Does the dialogue you want to achieve is in line with your vision? If you are discussing with your staff, how do you plan to work with them to achieve this vision?
  3. What is the problem that should be solved? If you have ambitious goals, identify obstacles that will impede your development. By doing so, you can avoid the content of your dialogue into a selfish desire that you regard as your own individual, and can be a collective creativity to promote reform.
