Let your career expectations match your family
Parents, children, spouses will have expectation to you. This is normal. You can try to get their expectation to guide you to arrange occupation development. Maybe your occupation choice will disappoint them. For example, if you choose to work in another city, they may feel you abandoned them.
These are real concerns. Many times we think we know our families, and our families understand us, but that's not necessarily the case.
So you can write down what's important to you, and then share and discuss with your family. You can learn about what they expect and need from you, and how much they can support.

Take a job that makes you uncomfortable to make yourself grow up
We always meet the job we want to avoid on the job. Maybe you'd rather be in a familiar work circle and be shy with strangers.
Maybe some of the ideas of strangers can bring you new ideas. And the reality is these unpleasant jobs that you must experience in the growth of your career.
So, you have to go out of the comfort zone and take some small jobs that can be tried.
Instead of having to talk to a customer on a business trip, start with a meeting with other departments in the company.

In fact, this is an opportunity that you can really learn. You can learn from the views of others and in the lessons of the mistakes.

Thinking of the future by defeating the habit of procrastinating
Usually, it is not enough to make our work complete only by completing the present work. This is because the moment is visible, but the future is virture. But you can beat the procrastination by thinking about the future.
Please do this:
  1. Visualization. Take some time to figure out the results and values that you can produce in the project. When you look at the beautiful charts and feel satisfied with the tasks, you will concentrate on the completion of the tasks, and you will reduce the number of unnecessary calls or reduce the time spent browsing unnecessary web pages.
  2. Public advance commitments. Most people do not want to be seen as stupid or lazy. So, bravely say, "I'll give you a report before I leave work today." This will make you more focused on the preparation of the report.
  3. Consider the consequences of delays. Instead of telling yourself that you can put it off until tomorrow or a few days later, force yourself to think about the consequences of delays if you don't do it today.

Make full use of short-term appointments
A short term work, transfer, or job rotation, can bring great benefits. You have access to new places of work, functions, cultures and characters.
However, these short-term jobs usually have little or no training. Therefore, you can only rely on your own efforts to make full use of such short-term work:
  1. Set target. Start by writing down that your target during this short term period, whether it can become a permanent job, or learn new skills and experience, or both. At the same time, think about how you need to be able to achieve such a goal.
  2. Request feedback. Ask your boss or colleague how you should play a good role in this short term job. You should have at least one review and feedback with your supervisor.
  3. Keep up work record. When you know something can do a good job or you can't do it well, write it down. Think of you again and again, and learn lessons from you to have real insight and experience in such a short period of work.

Your anger must be worth it
When you are irritated and face emotional out of control, calm down and think about whether your anger can sustain the value you want.

If your losing control is just for your face, it's not worth it. If your anger can make the other person feel that you are trying to maintain a project to achieve your goal, or you cherish friendship or love, he will rethink your concerns.
