Not everything needs immediate response
If you reply to email at night, or if you answer the phone during the holidays, people will know that you are working. Your team members will keep asking you questions, and you will always respond to them.
Unless you break this state of immediate response. How do you do it?
  1. Let everyone know and cooperate. Let colleagues or subordinates who normally interact with you intimately know that you don't work during your breaks, don't respond to emails, and don't answer phone calls. You can set up an auto-response message in your email so that the person sending the message knows you're on vacation and lets them know when you're going to reply to them.
  2. Experience the joy of vacation. You need to start learning the fun of vacation. It may be difficult at first, but you'll gradually appreciate the benefits and get back to work full of energy.
  3. Emphasize the benefits of vacations. Not only do you need to take your vacation, but you should always ask your staff: "how are you doing?" Let them know how to adjust their jobs and vacations, and moderate support for them.

Avoid your work friendly enemies to hold you
In many workplaces, you encounter a so-called "friendly enemy" (Frenimy), who is friendly with you on the surface, but unproductive in relation to your work. He will make it difficult for you to push forward on some important tasks, without support or even deliberately letting your work fail.
How do you work with such a colleague?
  1. Say it. Go and say to him, you need to build a productive working relationship with him. Let him know the facts, explain to him, and ask him for a response.
  2. Make it out. If just verbal communication doesn't work, then email your concerns about him. If he asks for more information, give it to him. If he doesn't answer your email, then stand at his desk and tell him clearly that you want to work with him on a relationship that can work with one another.
  3. Spread out. If the person still does not make a decision, or refuses to support you, so that you can't continue to work, you spread out and make decisions with the collective authority of your peers.

When is the time to resign?
Resignation will have a negative impact on your career development and your bank account. But it may be worse to stay in a bad environment.
Please use the following tips to assess whether the resignation is:
  1. Assess your dissatisfaction. First understand that your unhappiness is due to the difficulty of seeing a bigger development vision or being stranded in daily work. You may be able to change the latter, but you can hardly change the former.
  2. Are there any other choices? Don't decide to leave because of emotional excitement. Even if you are in an unhappy situation, let's see if there are other options. Make a realistic comparison with several choices. Maybe your state is not really bad.
  3. Test your hypothesis. Do a few experiments to assess whether your feelings are realistic. For example, when your boss calls you to complete a job without showing his gratitude for your skills and effort, then it may be the time you think about changing the runway.

Especially for a new entrepreneur, you should pay more attention to show your performance to your boss, colleagues and your subordinates.
That doesn't mean you have to brag about yourself. Just tell the factual results.
You don't have to say how smart and diligent you are to accomplish the task, but you can say this: With the clear guidance of the boss, I made some optimization, with the support of all my colleagues, we accomplished the task together and achieved excellent results.  Don't block all the credit in yourself. Others will know your role and contribution in it.
If you can particularly praise the contributions of a few colleagues, they will be particularly grateful to you and create an atmosphere in the office that will benefit you.
