Do not regret after leaving the decision
No matter what industry you are in, no matter what role you play, or how successful you are, you may have made the wrong choice of career choice.
In particular, you should avoid making the following most common mistakes in career choice decisions:
  1. Change the runway for money. Many people will decide to change the runway because they want to get a high salary job, but in the end they will mostly fall into the unhappy way. Once they arrive at the new post, they often fall into another mire. If you are also thinking of leaving because of the opportunity to get a high paid job, take a step back and think about whether this new job is really meaningful to you, except for the treatment factors.
  2. Did not leave earlier. Some people leave in order to achieve their own enthusiasm, he usually asks himself, "why haven't I been there earlier?" of course, you can't let the time go back. If you have such a feeling of regret for yourself, instead of being disappointed again after spending more time in the future, it is better to decide to leave your existing job as early as possible.

Why are you looking for a new job?
When you want to change to a new job, it's a good experience to rethink what you really want.
You can at least ask yourself the following three questions:
  1. What special skills do I have? Some skills are acquired when you are young, while others are built up over time. You should know what you particularly like to keep for a long time.
  2. What advantages do I have over others? You have the ability, does not mean that others can not have. Finding yourself is really better than others, and it's worth the new owner's willingness to pay for your special abilities.
  3. What motivates you to jump out of bed? No one is born to work under pressure. Find the motivation that excites you. Think about what kind of job you really like?

When a new official takes office, he should ask more questions than succeed
Some people have been promoted and transferred to a department in charge. Once they take office, they will be able to succeed in everything. They often give orders, as if under his leadership, this department can have new performance immediately.
Such a new official is very easy to Waterloo.
Departmental employees may not adapt, feel disrespected, and let you resist the responsibility.
If you are a new official, you should first meet with several senior employees and consult them with an open attitude. For example, "If you were the head of this department, what three things would you give the highest priority to? Why? "What are the three biggest obstacles to our success? What are the three greatest opportunities we can develop?
Listen carefully to their advice and write it down. You can learn from these meetings what the real problems are in this department and how to inspire good ideas.
What's more, your willingness to listen demonstrates your respect for employees and establishes your leadership authority.

Why didn't you get an upgrade?
When the company announces a staff upgrade list, but you don't have an upgrade list, what do you have to find out? But your boss and HR supervisor usually give you only vague and vague answers, because they still don't want to lose a potential employee directly.
Then, how do you know why you have not been upgraded? Try the following:
  1. In-depth identification. Try to reach out to people who are likely to be involved in decision-making and ask in a sincere manner what the real reason is. You have to show that you want to hear the truth, even if the real answer makes you sound uncomfortable.
  2. Don't resist. Listen carefully, do not excuse, or try Shi Xiaohui to try to pull back. Avoid saying anything that might be interpreted as your intention to resist.
  3. Pay attention to key words. If you get the reply language is still more general, for example, "you have to improve communication skills." Behind this discourse, there may be more serious hidden problems. You must also try to find out the real reasons behind these vague language.

Even if you are not in the office, you can still work effectively
If you are stationed in the field, or are on a long business trip, or you serve a business in the form of SOHO, you don't usually see the other colleagues / employees in the office. It is necessary to maintain effective and productive teamwork.
The following tips can help you to become an effective team member, even if you are not in the office every day.
  1. More questions, understand the actual work requirements. The greatest advantage of working in an office is that you always know what the company is facing and what your boss and colleagues are thinking about. If you are not in the office, you need to ask more about the work entrusted by the superior. What should be considered? Do you need to keep the elasticity? Don't assume that you know the boss's job expectations. If you don't put your heart into it, you will eventually find yourself a white worker.
  2. The initiative is scheduled for a meeting. Whether it is a 1-1 meeting or a group meeting of a number of people, you need to take the initiative to ask for the arrangement. Even if you are meeting by phone or video, you can get some clues from your attendees in your office. Of course, the main purpose of the meeting is not here, but understanding the office's chemistry atmosphere often allows you to master the initiative.
  3. Take the opportunity to meet as much as possible. Whether you return to a company's office, or arrange teleconferencing, arrange as many meetings as possible, such as video conferencing. This contributes to a more harmonious development of interpersonal relationships. In video conferences, you should be well dressed, clean the table, don't feel you are a slovenly, let the far end boss or a colleague feel your attention to the meeting and the work.

How to reject the new job arrangement?
Most of us will accept the new work arrangements offered by our superiors, and we will not filter which are more urgent. We often have too much work on hand, so we are too stressed and overworked.
Knowing No. is not only important to you, but also to the success of the company.
Work to be efficient and pay for it. Don't be afraid to ask your boss why you need to add new jobs when you have many unfinished work on your hands. You can ask senior seniors in your company what the new job your boss is going to do to the company. Should it be the priority of the company? What should we do if we promise to undertake?
Raise your concerns so that your boss and senior peers can think more carefully. This allows you to be more aggressive in rejecting new job assignments that exceed your workload.
