When you become a freelance worker, let people know
Network is the best helper for Freelancer. If you are to be your boss in the workplace, you will hope that a group of people will be willing to support you, give you a job, introduce your work, and so on.
From now on, tell your colleagues, former colleagues, friends, and family, what you're going to do. Don't be shy, you're not begging the work.
You can ask them to have coffee or lunch together, explain the nature and content of your work, and let them know how you can provide services.
It is not only when you have free time, but even when you are busy, you have to take time to run your network.

Avoid these three mistakes when you want to change the situation
You have great ideas that can improve the performance of your work, but they may contradict or have to adjust the existing practices. You are faced with how to get the organizers to accept your new ideas.
At this time, you must avoid the following three mistakes:
  1. Act alone. It is easy to think that you can act alone and realize your ideas. But don't do it. Control your arrogance and coordinate other people to act together. Let everybody have new ideas, will make success greater.
  2. Finish your overall plan at once. When you have a good idea to share, a simple summary is good, no more than 15 minutes, only make a summary. First listen to other's response, let you have some discussion. Let other people begin to have a space to participate, gradually to gather consensus, and have the opportunity to adjust your original idea.
  3. Give up too soon. In your big plan, set several small goals that you can follow. When you have some obstacles, you can make some corrections, but you can still go on.

When you want to oppose someone's discriminatory attitude, notice to whom?
In the office, there will always be discrimination against others. Maybe someone will laugh at others, maybe be discriminated against the sex, maybe someone is favored by the leader. You may be dissatisfied with it and want to speak out.
However, you may notice the listener is careless, or you will be a few grunts exaggerate or spread out, what do you think of the idea of individual discrimination. What is worse, you may be on the executive leadership is not convinced, and this and your duties have nothing to do with the work. Some people may be on your back away, keep a distance. Well, to work on your future job will only add to your troubles and ask for trouble.
Of course, that doesn't mean you are blind and deaf. However, you should be aware that you may have misunderstood yourself, or that other people may not have the same perception as you. Your boldness may bring you a negative image.
You can control your emotions, don’t be complacent, observe the reaction of other colleagues in the office, and then weigh the situation to determine your correct attitude.
Don't make your own office gossip. Be careful to choose your speech.

You don't need to always help others
To help others will make us feel happy and motivated. But the fact is that helping others often makes us exhausted, and makes us feel tired and affect our follow-up performance.
So, how can you maintain your own productivity while helping others?
First of all, it is important to recognize that helping others can have negative effects in a few hours or days in addition to positive benefits.
Second, if you feel overwhelmed, take a break, go for a walk, or take a nap.

Finally, allow yourself to refrain from asking other people to ask for help. You may not need to refuse completely. This is also an option, but you can agree to help him when you finish your work or when you are free.

Think carefully about the support of your friends and colleagues when you decide to make a career change
After you think about it and consider all the gains and losses, you decide to make a career change, quit, go to a different industry, or go back to school. You know this is the right decision for you, but your friends and colleagues can't be easily convinced and support your decision. How do you convince them to support you?
First, consider their concerns. Most people would rather play devil's advocate, be the bad guy. However, your changes may also motivate their own career choices. If their opinions are really pertinent and foresight, you might as well as sincere advice.
Second, listen carefully to their concerns. People close to you have the right to show you their doubts. You have the obligation to tell them that you will take their opinions and objections into serious consideration.
Finally, say to them this is your own final decision, and you will bear the consequences.

When you face a conflict with a colleague, ask yourself a few questions
When you may have a conflict with a colleague, you often don't know how to deal with it. Should you settle the dispute immediately, or should you keep silent first? Can you ask yourself these questions to decide what attitude and action you should take?
  1. Do you have to rely on this problem for your short-term or long-term success?
  2. Is this person your subordinates or your boss?
  3.  Is it necessary for you to work for him in the short term? Or is the work relationship between you must continue to develop?
  4. Is it important for you or organization to improve this situation?
  5. Does this situation interfere with your ability to work every day, as well as your attention to work?
From these questions, you can tell that the problem is a one-time event, or you will not often encounter such a problem, and you can be silent first, and observe how things will evolve. On the contrary, if this or the relationship with this person's work hinders your success, the immediate problem must be solved immediately.
