Dont Underestimate the Horizontal Transfer
Many people are looking forward to get promoted the appreciation of the opportunities in the company. However, if you were asked for a transfer to another department or another position, rather than promotion, and, you did not refuse, this may be for you in the occupation development on a potential opportunity.
Horizontal transfer like this could expand your skills, increase your professional, to expand your vision.
In fact, many companies need to have such high potential employees. He can cope with a variety of requirements, can do overall management, and then give those who are able to challenge such a promotion.
So, please don't just focus on the change in your position, but focus on your long-term goals and the skills you need to achieve that goal. A horizontal transfer can enhance the strength of your resume.

Shake Off the Bad Work Conditions
In times of recession, few people consider quitting their jobs, which means that many people are trapped in jobs they dislike or even inhumane.
To get rid of such a bad working situation, try to do so:
  1. Keep in touch with people. Relationships often change the state of your work. You can contact other departments, friends or superiors, or outside friends to see if there are other jobs.
  2. Be humorous. If you are unhappy with your work, try to make your life humorous. Humor can not only help you through difficult times, but also keep you positive energy.
  3. Don't stop. Perhaps the most important thing is, when you are free, continue to update your resume, look at the talent market online job ad.

Admit You Don't Know
Many managers are afraid to say, "I don't know."." "Can you help me?"" Or, "I'm not sure I got it."."
But if you make mistakes by ignorance, it's not worth it. Moreover, if you hide your mistakes because you are ignorant, it will cause other people to distrust you.
So, if something really goes beyond your knowledge, you'd better start by honestly admitting that you don't know. For others, their situation may be the same. Therefore, admitting your ignorance does not really hurt your face. And, if you need, you can ask for help and get a chance to learn.

How do you get your new boss to feel like you're his closest guy at the start? Let's start by assuming that he wants to re-engage you.

Establish Your Mentor Relationship Correctly
Once you have selected your mentor, start your apprenticeship properly.
Here's an apprenticeship that allows you to build successful partnerships with mentors:
  1. Know your advisor. Don't immediately ask for guidance from your supervisor. Take some time to get to know your advisor. You can ask him about his experience, his style of work, and introduce yourself to him.
  2. Management concerns. You may be concerned about admitting your flaws. You should build a confidential mutual trust with your supervisor. You should also do your due diligence on the privacy of your advisor.
  3. Schedule. To promote learning, you should set up a schedule, and ask the instructor to give feedback, then, follow each other's plan.

Identify three most critical elements that will affect your career
Only enthusiasm and job skills do not guarantee your long-term success. However, regular review of key elements of your work can help you step beyond your peers and build the foundation for long-term success.
To develop your ability to succeed, you can begin to examine what key elements of your current job are critical to your long-term success. You can look at and think about what skills, knowledge, ways of work, and support resources you have in your current job. You can build up and make yourself unique
These elements, and perhaps your current lack of ability, require you to learn or practice more or must gradually build up. But you should find out, and set up a schedule, and implement them one by one.
You should use your time to focus on these 70% key capabilities, and block out other non-significant content which will tempt you to distraction.
Of course, you'll have to check the list regularly and update it after more rigorous analysis.

Three Ways to get Promotion Opportunity
If you've been working in a company for years, and you want to get promoted in your position, the following practices will help you to improve your chances:
  1.  Initiative. If you do your job well, it's just a show. You should adjust your role, exceed the scope of your work, and actively participate in and improve the overall performance of your team. You can dig up problems that other people can't solve and take it up.
  2. Choose your battlefield wisely. Mature and wise, choose the goals you challenge. Not all inefficient work is worth your while. You need to choose jobs that improve customer satisfaction and increase your company's revenue or productivity.
  3. Show you can lead a team. If this is not your formal responsibility, it will be more difficult to do. If so, show that you have good interpersonal skills and leadership skills in team work.

There are three reasons why you should not leave easily
You may be unhappy at work, frustrated, out of mind, and want to hand in your resignation at once. When you walked out the door before, please take a deep breath, and then carefully consider the following three factors, think about whether it is worth you to leave immediately?
  1. Networking is more important than money. You may think you will find a job that pays you a higher salary, but you will leave your relationships that have been established over the years and have long supported your work. It's not easy for you to rebuild your new job.
  2. There is no urgent need to leave. Often, those who want to quit tend not to do enough search and study work for their next employer. A strategy plan is more valuable than a rush.
  3. You overestimate yourself. Most respondents overestimate their skills and values, according to the survey. Before you leave, make a realistic assessment of yourself and see what you really can offer to your new employer

Is It Worth Your Time?
Most leaders are often asked to spend their time, resources, opinions, decisions. It is a critical skill to decide which actions should be taken and to make promises.
Next time you ask for a commitment, ask yourself the following three questions:
  1. Am I the right person?
  2.  Is this the right time?
  3.  Do I have enough information?
If the answer to any of the above questions is negative, do not give any commitment. Put this request pass to the right person, find another time, or wait until you need enough information.

Who?
Three Connections You Should Build
Everyone knows that Know Who is more important than Know What, but how do you know you should know Who?
Suggest you should establish three kinds of network relations listed below:
  1. Personal support. In times of difficulty, you need someone to give you back to back support. They may not give you direct and practical help, but they may give you encouragement, cheer up, or even give you wisdom to guide you, or introduce you to some alternatives.
  2. Explore and develop. Your network includes experienced bosses and clients who can verify your ability to work, and your family or shareholders will remind you of what's more meaningful.
  3. Self-cultivation of body and mind. Recognize people who can help you maintain good health, improve your life, build good minds, and improve happiness.

Learn, begin by listening
Many people tend to show off when they are facing their tutors, and want to make their teachers sit up and take notice of themselves. Most instructors, however, are dismissive of the arrogance of such apprentices.
You should listen to your mentor modestly and make him feel that you are serious about learning. When your supervisor gives you your opinion, don't answer: "Yes, I knew it."." Instead, you should repeat what you hear and ask the instructor to clarify your understanding.
The instructor will always test your understanding according to your answer. The more you absorb, the more he will teach you.

Give yourself time to rest while you work hard
When you have an urgent project to accomplish, you may want to have enough energy to keep up with the schedule.
However, your brain can only support you attention to 90 minutes of work, you must have a rest. If you ignore the fatigue signal of your body, you will make it hard to concentrate, body stiff, mood not stable, your productivity will also therefore began to decrease.
Therefore, you must pay attention to your 90 minutes of work cycle. Set the alarm clock, turn off your mobile phone, turn off your computer on unnecessary windows, and, refuse unwanted visitors. At the time, do the necessary rest, go for a walk, breathing exercise, drink a cup of coffee, eat some fruit, etc. enough rest, then, you can back to work. You must have enough energy to focus on the work.

Start a Day to Start Work
Every time you watch the news on TV, there is an opening for you to have a preparation in mind.
Many people are always worried that there is not enough time to cope with the endless stream of work every day, because he is not in the mood to concentrate on his work plan.
Let yourself calm down, you need a ceremony, like the news. If you can take a few seconds to settle down, think of today is ready to complete the work, you can focus on the work itself, rather than in your anxiety mood.
You can go into the office, open the computer or pick up the phone before, can make these arrangements ready to start working ceremony, for example, to clean up the desktop, or take a cup of tea. Take a deep breath, and then think about today's work plan.

You will find that doing so will keep you focused and work more efficiently.

Hold on to Your Opportunities for Growth
Many managers find it difficult to allow them to grow or develop in their current positions. If you're ambitious, but you don't have enough growth opportunities in your current position, you can project your vision into other areas.
For example, you can try to undertake work in your department or outside the organizational level. In these other areas, you can broaden your horizons, learn new job skills, and meet people in other areas, so that you can improve your abilities.
If you don't have that opportunity at the moment, you can develop your skills and expand your contacts outside the company. For example, you can go to adult education units to teach others, volunteer activities, blog on the Internet, or participate in professional activities to meet people from different companies.
These activities can build your new capabilities, develop your personal brand, and give you the opportunity to discover and participate in some strategic new projects.

When you are ready to abuse, three let you calm down
The economic downturn would easily make you angry? Sounds reasonable, economic pressure, and people feel the same way. When things get bad, it's easy to show off our worst.
Here are some tips to keep you cool under increasing pressure:
  1. Stay alert. Pay attention to what is going on around you and act accordingly. But don't be crazy. Going crazy can only hinder your ability to make good decisions.
  2. Focus on what you have to do. If you want to do a long flood disaster, you can easily feel helpless. You have to decide what is absolutely necessary, and focus on the projects. But you should avoid letting the impending fire butt go into the list you have to do. You should balance these jobs with other projects that will ensure that your company can survive for a long time.
  3. Ask people what they do with it. Show your concern for others. Although you may not be able to solve their problems, they may not be able to solve your problem, but you can listen to their stories, so that can make you feel more lonely to face their own difficulties.

(Operation Network
ü  智囊網(Advisory Network
ü  社會網 Social Network
