認識你的老闆的老闆 (2)

花一些時間認識高你二層以上的高階主管,能夠讓你對你的工作有更廣闊的認識,並且有助於你的未來前程發展。但是,並非每個人必須直接去接觸老闆的老闆。
以下的作法,讓你能夠得到老闆的老闆的關注:
  1. 抓住任何可以接觸的機會。你可以分享一份有價值的文章給他,或是提出只有他才有能力回答的問題。至少,在辦公室見面時,直接打招呼。
  2. 增加你的展現機會。你可以爭取在公司全員大會,或是跨部門會議上,得到上台發言的機會。或是,整理好你的工作記錄,請你的老闆轉發給他的老闆。
  3. 獲得優良績效。讓你的內部與外部客戶都對你產生良好印象。當你獲得他們的讚揚時,轉發給你的老闆。他多半也會再轉發給他的老闆,因為你的優良表現也是對他有利的。

Take some time to know the top executives who are two or more above you, so that you can have a broader understanding of your work and contribute to your future development. But not everyone has to contact the boss's boss directly.
The following tips enable you to get the boss's boss's attention:
  1. Seize any opportunity to contact. You can share a valuable article with him or ask questions that only he can answer. At least, when you meet at the office, say hello directly.
  2. Increase your opportunity to show. You can try to get the opportunity to speak at the company plenary meeting or inter departmental meeting. Or, collate your work record, ask your boss to forward it to his boss.
  3. Get good performance. Let your internal and external customers all have a good impression on you. When you get their compliments, forward them to your boss. He will probably forward it to his boss again, because your good performance is also in his favor.
