在團隊組織中,一個常用的散播恐懼氛圍的作法,是說一項新構想是不符合我們的團隊核心價值,並且會損害團隊的精神與基礎。
如果團隊成員如此看待你的創意,那麼團隊的抵制很可能就會演化成為對你的攻擊行為,而這種氛圍不容易有簡單的紓解方法。你若是對抗,通常只會升高衝突。
相反的,你應該認知並且支持他們維護團隊核心價值的動機,並且仔細向他們解釋你的想法也是符合團隊組織的目標與立場。
Free from fear atmosphere
An
effective way to stifle a good idea is to instil fear in people who may accept
the new approach.
A
common way to spread fear in a team organization is to say that a new idea is
incompatible with the core values of our team and undermines the spirit and
foundation of the team.
If
team members see your idea this way, the resistance of the team is likely to
evolve into aggressive behavior against you, an atmosphere that is not easily
mitigated. If you fight, you usually only escalate conflict.
Instead,
you should recognize and support their motivation to uphold the team's core
values, and carefully explain to them that your ideas are also consistent with
the goals and positions of the team organization.
