為自己的專業發展負責

能夠為自己的專業發展負起責任,能夠讓你的肩膀更有承擔能力。但是,現實的困難是學習的預算可能被削減了,而且相關的資源也可能更有限了。

怎麼辦?無論你面臨的局面是如何,不管你是否在職或是已經賦閒待業,設法用以下的方式來維持你的專業發展:
  1. 每個月與1~2名前同事見面。你們可以談談這個產業面臨的狀況,以及未來可能的發展趨勢。如此,能夠讓你不脫節。
  2. 每季安排一個重要的學習機會。如果你的現職工作不能提供給你足夠的挑戰,設法往外尋求機會。例如,可以到非營利組織去擔任義工,或是參加研討會,或是去報名參加一個學習課程。
  3. 給自己安排一個績效評估。無論是用正式的或是非正式的形式,讓自己有機會得知自己成長與績效的表現狀況。你應該對自己誠實,知道自己的優缺點,以及你來年應該關注在什麽成長與發展的重點。
