沒有一種工作是不委屈的

很多人都知道,劉若英在出道前曾經是她師父,就是著名音樂人陳昇的助理,劉若英在唱片公司裡幾乎什麼都要做,甚至要洗廁所,她跟另外一個助理兩人一星期洗廁所的分工是一三五和二四六,另一個助理的名字叫金城武。
回憶往事的意義在於,讓人記住的總是美好的那一部分,至於其中的艱難也總會被歲月所淡化,這也是為什麼我跟很多長輩請教他們過去經歷的時候,他們對於那些過往的苦與難大多時候都是一笑而過,因為他們自己也不知道是怎麼過來的了。
所以回到如今現實中的問題,身為一個非職場新鮮人,我能想起來這三四年的工作感受也是美好多於不快樂的部分,但是這個過程中我自己體會到的一件事情就是,我以前總以為熬過這一段時光就會好起來了,這種觀點有可能是錯誤的。

一是沒有人能給出一個答案,所謂好起來的生活是什麼樣的。二是這個熬過去的日子裡,很多時候只是我們當下覺得困難重重,殊不知其實你所經歷的,也正是大部分人正在經歷的一切,當然那些極端個別的案例我不想拿來論證這一點。
剛進職場的時候,我們要學習基本的職場規則,要盡快熟悉自己工作崗位上的必要技能,我敢說我們大學裡學的那些東西,基本上進了職場後九成是用不上的,這個時候一個人的學習能力跟領悟力就是最大的競爭力,當然除此之外,更重要的是我們心態上的調適,這件事情小到我該不該跟隔壁的同事打招呼,大到比如直屬主管要我做的事情跟公司的流程規則有衝突,這個時候我該怎麼辦?
你有沒有發現,這個時候你就像一個黑暗中獨自摸索的孩子,沒有家人,沒有老師,沒有學長學姊可以問,周圍一群陌生人漫無表情地穿梭於辦公室的走廊過道上,就像電影裡的快鏡頭,你身後的景象千變萬化飛速流轉,你自己一個人孤獨地停留在原地。

寫一封優雅的辭職信(即使你等不及要辭職)

無論什麼理由,你都決定要辭職離開了,你離開時如何寫一封優美的辭職信?

在困難的談話之前,先考慮對方的觀點(2)

很自然的進入一個艱難的談話,會先關切你想要得到的結果。
但是只考慮你的目標不會給你和你的對手解决衝突所必需的共同基礎。你需要很好地瞭解別人的目標和興趣是什麼。他們有一個理由,他們的行為至今(即使你不同意它),那可能是什麼?想想他們發生了什麼事。
問問你自己:他們希望達到什麼目標?這對他們來說有什麼關係?如果你不確定,問問你信任的人,他們認為對方的想法是怎樣的。

Before a Difficult Conversation, Consider Your Counterpart’s Perspective

Putting yourself in the other person’s shoes will give you information you can use to navigate the discussion and propose solutions that meet both of your needs.

使用快速回饋會話與同事交流意見

Communicating with colleagues through fast feedback sessions

避免這四種破壞談話的行為

當工作中艱難的對話出出現不恰當行為,就會迅速轉變無效的爭論。保持你的討論在相互尊重的氛圍:避免責備、蔑視、自我防衛和拖延。
  1. 責怪。儘量不要假設你的同事在想什麼,不要做無端的指責。把談話的重點放在事實上。
  2. 蔑視。當你憤怒地抨擊時,你要承認並盡可能避免作出判斷。
  3. 自我防衛。對談話中的角色要負責。你是否持接受別人意見,或者把新觀點解釋為批評?
  4. 拖延。致力於傾聽並以開放的心態做出貢獻,而不是回避不愉快的話題或拒絕充分參與談話。
任何這些行為都會使討論脫軌,所以要對你自己和你的隊友作出承諾,避免發生這些不恰當的行為。

Avoid these 4 ways of damaging conversations
When a difficult conversation occurs, inappropriate behavior will quickly change ineffective debate. Keep your discussion in an atmosphere of mutual respect: avoid blame, contempt, self-defense and delays.
  1. Blame. Try not to assume what your colleagues are thinking. Don't make groundless accusations. Put the focus of the conversation on the facts.

  3. Self-defense. Be responsible for the role in the conversation. Do you accept the opinions of others or interpret the new ideas as criticism?
  4. Delays. Be committed to listening and contributing with open mind rather than avoiding unpleasant topics or refusing to engage fully in conversation.
Any of these actions will derail the discussion, so make a commitment to yourself and your teammates to avoid these inappropriate behaviors.

要解决一個問題,就不要再去想它了

當你試圖想出一個創造性的方法來解决問題時,你可能會忍不住想更多辦法來解决這個問題。
然而,如果你每隔一段時間休息一下會產生更好的結果。

To solve a problem, stop thinking about it
When you try to come up with a creative solution to the problem, you may tempted to think of more ways to solve the problem.
However, if you take a break every once in a while, it will produce better results.
Set a timer, say 30 minutes. When the time comes, switch jobs: sort out your receipts, check your emails, or clean up your desk, and then back to work.
If you don’t want to stop because you feel you’re hesitating. Anyway, you should have a rest.

當你沒有得到老闆的回饋時,你該怎麼做?
