Cultivate your ability to recover from setbacks
Some people still thrive when faced with setbacks, while others don't seem to be able to recover. For example, how do you deal with being fired or not getting promoted? Is it easy or difficult for you to regain your confidence?
You can develop three traits that help you recover from setbacks:
  1. See clearly the reality. There are ways for people to have the actual situation they face will view the reality. They are not too optimistic, do not deny the reality. On the contrary, they even looked at the difficult situation, regard them as a pipeline to spend training their suffering.
  2. Discover the meaning from facts that happen. People who are able to create some kind of meaning from the pain they experience.

Set aside times to deal with trivial things that have to be done
Everyone has some things that have to be done, such as organizing folders, cleaning mails, making promises to call, and so on.
If you can't delegate or abandon these jobs, there are two ways to deal with such type of works:
  1. Complete these less important works at one time. To create a sense of momentum. You can find a cafe, sit down and clean up these small jobs, and promise yourself not to go home until fully cleaning up. Or, you work together with some colleagues to complete such boring job list.
  2. To use of "Constant dripping wears away a stone." strategy. Find out some small time in your working schedule. Use the short time to do low value work. You can in some pressure to complete the important work after low time to do these things. So, when you are doing important work during the recovery time, your mind would be more relaxed. There are not old heart annoying things has not been resolved.

Depend on others to help you improve
People generally have a wrong understanding that individual progress depends on their own efforts.
Although we all have the concept of "self-effort", the most successful way to improve ourselves is relying on others, to imitate others as learning model.
If you want to get a new skill or breaking a bad habit, look for those who want to do the same thing, and arrange regular meeting with him. You can also join the online learning community, discussion groups or courses. Through empathy, success stories, and attention, Yes, you can... the establishment of confidence and determination to overcome the setbacks, the adoption of new acceleration behavior. You can also set up a circle of friends to help each other.
The most important thing is that you on the success of each other have a sense of belonging, this power will bring change.

Don't let your boss refuse you to interfere with your goals
When we ask for more resources, most of us don't want to be rejected. We usually believe that the more resources we have, the better the results will be.
But in this case, your boss has no chance to prove that you can use less resources and still be able to work in high quality, and you can find creative solutions.
In fact, the less experience you have and the more experience you have, the more likely you are to learn how to use your intelligence to create solutions.
Don't focus on what you can't get resources, think about how you face the challenge, can work with existing resources and cooperation with others, but can still meet the project deadline, or any other goal to reach the sales target.
You need to invest resources in the task, begin the experiment. You may find that even if there is no complete resource, or have more budget, as long as there is a complete plan, cooperation team, you are still able to work toward your goal.

You can still cope with what you're afraid of
When you're in a new situation, you naturally feel a little empty and powerless. However, most people are more flexible and more adaptive to what they feel.
To be able to cope with what you feel powerless, you can review what you've done, maybe a job, or you move to a new city.
Also, if you're nervous about socializing, think about all the people who interact with you. How do you speak to your new colleagues, and how do you speak to your old colleagues? How do you communicate with your relatives and the way you interact with your college classmates?
If you think about it, you'll be able to grasp the similarities and differences. You will find that, as long as you calm down, you can still cope with what you think you can't do. At the least, you won't be so afraid of facing new things.

Use two questions to help you prioritize
If your boss isn't the kind of supervisor who gives you a lot of instructions, then you have to prioritize for your work.
You can focus on the right things by asking yourself two questions:
  1.  What is the greatest contribution I can make?” To consider the needs of the organization and your unique strengths, experience and ability. But don't focus on what you are good at. Ask yourself:
  2.   “What am I passionate about?” Think about the projects and tasks, what make you most inspiring, and where you can make the most impact? Focusing your efforts will motivate you to put in extra effort.
Prioritize those that you can make a high contribution to and you can have a passion for working on. Prioritize your plans and arrange your work. At the same time, delegate or reject the low-value and low-interest jobs, and the day-to-day work of the meeting.

Help perfectionist, don't be too hard on yourself
Perfectionists are usually reluctant to expose their weaknesses, which makes them particularly difficult to teach. How should a mentor do it?
Try to focus your teaching on affirmation, validation, encouragement and support. Guide him to discover value, not just reward his performance.
When he fails or knows his own failures, helps him to explore the causes of failure, and bravely assumes responsibility for failure, and finds ways to improve.
Allow perfectionists to take on some mistakes, tell them they don't need to know all the answers, and encourage them to try and make mistakes, but show them how to learn and grow.
You can say to perfectionism: "I don't know, but we work together to find the answer.
