充分運用短期任命工作

短期的工作、調職。或是輪值,可以帶來很大的好處。你可以接觸到新的工作地點,功能,文化與人物。
但是,這些短期工作通常只有很少或是沒有訓練。所以,你只能靠自己來充分以自己的努力來充分運用這樣的短期工作:
  1. 設定目標。一開始,就寫下你在這短期動作中希望達成你的目標,無論那是可以成為永久的職務,或是學習到新的工作技能與經歷,或是兩者都可以達成。同時,想清楚你需要如何安排在能夠達到這樣的目標。
  2. 請求回饋。請問你的老闆或同事,你在這個短期工作中,應該如何扮演好角色。你應該和你的監督者至少有一次檢討回饋。
  3. 建立工作記錄。當你知道某些做法可以做好工作,或是不能做好,寫下來。將你這些心得反復思考,吸取教訓,讓你在這樣的短期工作中有真實的洞見與經驗。
Make full use of short-term appointments
A short term work, transfer, or job rotation, can bring great benefits. You have access to new places of work, functions, cultures and characters.
However, these short-term jobs usually have little or no training. Therefore, you can only rely on your own efforts to make full use of such short-term work:
  1. Set target. Start by writing down that your target during this short term period, whether it can become a permanent job, or learn new skills and experience, or both. At the same time, think about how you need to be able to achieve such a goal.
  2. Request feedback. Ask your boss or colleague how you should play a good role in this short term job. You should have at least one review and feedback with your supervisor.
  3. Keep up work record. When you know something can do a good job or you can't do it well, write it down. Think of you again and again, and learn lessons from you to have real insight and experience in such a short period of work.
